The Olde Creamery had humble beginnings.
Originally built in 1892, the building served as a Creamery for local farmers until the late 1930's when it became a fertilizer depot.
It was then "home" to many families, enjoying the 3 acres of old English trees and extensive gardens.
The current owners purchased the very derilict building in 2001 with a vision of creating a country Cafe in the Historic building.
The labour of love was completed restoring the building to its former glory, retaining the "olde worlde" feel about it and utilizing as much of the original features and materials as we could.
We pride ourselves on the peaceful ambience we have created away from the hustle and bustle of city life yet are only 12 minutes from Hamilton, Te Awamutu and Cambridge.
In 2006 we opened the boutique Wedding Venue and Conference Facility which have become very popular venues.
